Lake Mead
Lake Mead is the largest man-made reservoir in the United States. Formed by Colorado River water impounded by the Hoover Dam, the lake extends 112 miles (180 km) behind the dam, holding approximately 28,500,000 acre feet (35.2 km3) of water.

Lake Mohave
Lake Mohave is a reservoir encompassing 28,260 acre feet of water formed by Davis Dam on the Colorado River, which defines the border between Nevada and Arizona. The lake lies at an elevation of 647 feet (197 m) near Bullhead City, Arizona, and Laughlin, Nevada, about 67 miles (108 km) downstream from the Hoover Dam. The lake and adjacent lands forming its shoreline are part of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area administered by the U.S. National Park Service.

Lake Havasu
Lake Havasu is a large reservoir behind Parker Dam on the Colorado River on the border between California and Arizona. The City of Lake Havasu City sits on the lake's eastern shore. The lake has a capacity of 648,000 acre feet (799,000 dam³). The concrete arch dam was built by the United States Bureau of Reclamation between 1934 and 1938.
