Bennett provides comprehensive site-selection assistance to companies looking to relocate or expand within Mohave County, with special emphasis in targeted manufacturing, energy, distribution, logistics, and healthcare service industries. Prior to joining MCEDD in 2009, Bennett spent nearly thirteen years managing a residential and commercial real estate and development brokerage in Southern California’s Inland Empire. He holds his Real Estate Broker's License in both Arizona and California and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from California State University – San Bernardino. Bennett’s professional memberships include National Association of Realtors and Arizona Association for Economic Development. When he’s not busy collaborating with new or expanding businesses within the Mohave region, he enjoys taking full advantage of the area’s unlimited outdoor recreational offerings with his wife and four children.
Nick has over 25 years of professional consulting experience in private practice and 12 years of professional management and administration experience in County government. He has a BS degree in civil engineering; has expertise in civil, transportation, environmental and geotechnical engineering; a licensed Professional Engineer in Arizona and California. In private practice in California, he was a founding member and Principal Engineer at a large international Civil and Environmental Engineering firm. As a consulting engineer, he managed numerous engineering design and construction projects throughout the States of California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington and Colorado. In the past 12 years at Mohave County, he worked in management positions in administration, engineering and contract administration. Nick has held the County positions of Engineering Manager for Construction, Assistant Public Works Director, Flood Control District Engineer, Deputy County Engineer, Floodplain Administrator, and Development Services Director. Currently he is overseeing the County's Planning and Zoning Divisions, Building Permitting/Inspection Program, Flood Control District, County Emergency Management and Economic Development Departments. Nick and his wife Marchie enjoy the outdoors, the "big country", mountains, lakes, and all the beauty of this great County.
Mike brings over 25 years of upper level professional management, administration and budgeting experience, and over 30 years of professional experience in engineering, with expertise in contract administration and management. Mike has held the positions of Deputy County Manager, Managing Engineer, Civil Engineer, Assistant County Engineer, County Engineer, Assistant Public Works Director, Public Works Director, Superintendent of Streets, Flood Plain Administrator, Flood Plain Manager, and Deputy County Manager. Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Arizona College of Engineering; Professional Registration in the State of Utah as a Civil Engineer in 1987, and; Professional Registration in the State of Arizona as a Civil Engineer in 1987. Mike and his wife Cherie enjoy hunting, fishing and training their Bird Dogs.
