Bennett Bratley, Economic Development Director

Bennett provides comprehensive site-selection assistance to companies looking to relocate or expand within Mohave County, with special emphasis in targeted manufacturing, energy, distribution, logistics, and healthcare service industries. Prior to joining MCEDD in 2009, Bennett spent nearly thirteen years managing a residential and commercial real estate and development brokerage in Southern California’s Inland Empire. He holds his Real Estate Broker's License in both Arizona and California and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from California State University – San Bernardino. Bennett’s professional memberships include National Association of Realtors and Arizona Association for Economic Development which he is currently holds a position on the board of directors. When he’s not busy collaborating with new or expanding businesses within the Mohave region, he enjoys taking full advantage of the area’s unlimited outdoor recreational offerings with his wife and four children.

Tim Walsh, Development Services Director

Tim Walsh is the Director of Mohave County Development Services, and has worked for Mohave County for 8 years. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona. As director, Tim manages the activities of the Planning and Zoning, Building, Flood Control, Environmental Quality/Landfills and Economic Development Divisions. Tim has over 15 years of experience in Civil Engineering particularly in land development, hydrology, hydraulics, water and wastewater systems, transportation and construction management. Prior to working for the County he was a consultant at a land development engineering firm in Kingman working on commercial and residential development projects. Tim began work with the County as a Civil Engineer in Public Works, he was then promoted to Engineering Manager of Water and Transportation Operations. Tim holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, both from Utah State University.


Mike P. Hendrix, P.E., County Manager

Mike brings over 25 years of upper level professional management, administration and budgeting experience, and over 30 years of professional experience in engineering, with expertise in contract administration and management. Mike has held the positions of Deputy County Manager, Managing Engineer, Civil Engineer, Assistant County Engineer, County Engineer, Assistant Public Works Director, Public Works Director, Superintendent of Streets, Flood Plain Administrator, Flood Plain Manager, and Deputy County Manager. Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Arizona College of Engineering; Professional Registration in the State of Utah as a Civil Engineer in 1987, and; Professional Registration in the State of Arizona as a Civil Engineer in 1987. Mike and his wife Cherie enjoy hunting, fishing and training their Bird Dogs.
